This is a huge year for golf in Scotland, with the 150th Open Championship being held for the thirtieth time at St Andrews (fondly known as the ‘home of golf’). It sees Colin Morikawa defending his title in golf’s oldest major, established in 1860. Unsurprisingly, this event is already sold out. However, just the week before, some of the biggest names in the sport will also be playing in the Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club near North Berwick, East Lothian, between July 7 and 10. There’s a new title sponsor – Korean car firm Genesis – and an $8m prize purse for this popular and prestigious event. First played in 1935, the Scottish Open is part of the European Tours’ Rolex Series and is now even a co-sanctioned PGA Tour event.
To mark such an exciting summer of our favourite sport, we’re thrilled to be hosting not one but two week-long golf camps, one running from July 3 to 10 to celebrate the Genesis Scottish Open, and the second from July 11 to 18, so participants can soak up the incredible experience and atmosphere of The Open Championship.
