During the Open Camp, juniors will also be given a great all-round experience in St Andrews. They’ll play the best courses in the area, learn from the finest instructors and most importantly have fun with plenty of additional activities.

About The Scottish Open

The Scottish Open (AKA the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open) forms part of the European Tours’ Rolex Series. It’s one of eight premium events offering a minimum prize fund of $7 million.
Established in 1935, the Scottish Open has a long list of illustrious winners, most recently including the likes of Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson, Alexander Noren and Justin Rose.

In 2021, the Scottish Open is due to be played at The Renaissance Club, in North Berwick. It will be a fantastic opportunity for our juniors to see their favourite players competing for one of the European Tour’s most coveted titles.

Learn links golf with expert PGA pros

Pot-bunkers, high fescue rough, endless undulating greens, rolling fairways and seas winds… There are many elements, typical to Links courses, that juniors will learn to master during the golf lessons.

Aside from developing their general golf technique, juniors will learn about shot-shaping and trajectory control to help in the wind, long putting to master Links greens and bunker play to get out of any sand trap. They’ll also learn that when it comes to approaching the green on a Links, the bump and run with a long iron is sometimes a better option than using a wedge…

The ideal 2-week camp: more golf, more fun

Attending at least 2 weeks of Mypro Golf Camp is definitely our best recommendation and we find that most returning students come back for 2 or 3 weeks each year. If your child is keen to improve in golf and English, then the longer they stay, the better. Not only this but, with each week full of the sport we love, time flies VERY quickly and one week can feel too short. It’s possible to mix the programmes and, for example, to attend The Open Camp and one or two weeks of The Players Camp.
