getting ready for camp

Arriving by plane

Group transfers from Edinburgh Airport to St Andrews

Juniors arriving by plane should book flights to Edinburgh Airport. Group transfers to and from Edinburgh Airport are arranged free of charge, provided that juniors arrive between 9am and 5pm on arrival day, and depart between 09:00 and 17:00 on departure day. Travel arrangements can be accommodated outside of these times but will incur an extra cost.

Travelling with the Unaccompanied Minor Service

Some airlines such as Air France, KLM or British Airways offer a service allowing children under 16 to travel alone. If you have booked the Unaccompanied Minor Service, you must let us know. Failure to do so may result in your child not being allowed to stay with us. We will give you the name and contact details of the person who will be at the airport on arrival and on departure.

Visa & Passport
Since January 2021, a valid passport is required to enter the UK. It is no longer possible to travel with a national Identity Card.

In most instances, juniors attending Mypro Golf Camp will not need a Visa, even since Brexit. But, in instances when a Visa is required, it’s the responsibility of the applicant to apply for such travel documentation.
It takes less than a minute to find out if you need a visa, just click here.

Travel & Medical Insurance

All junior campers must purchase suitable travel insurance which covers them when abroad. If you’re from the European Union, standard travel insurance will cover your child. But if you’re from outside the EU, you’ll need to make arrangements for medical insurance as well.
