Two incredible championship courses
If you’re a golfing addict, you probably watched the latest European Tour event: The Scottish Championship. We particularly enjoyed this tournament because it took place in St Andrews and more precisely at The Fairmont, a place that we know very well. Indeed, The Fairmont is one of the many courses that we bring our juniors to during our summer golf camp and the days spent at this championship venue are always a highlight of the camp – it’s no wonder why!
The Kittocks Course
There are 2 courses, The Kittocks and The Torrance, the latter being the one played during The Scottish Championship. Both of these courses are stunning – located along the coast, they offer beautiful views over the sea and St Andrews. If you’re visiting St Andrews, you MUST play these courses and for the perfect holiday, the Fairmont Hotel is a great place to stay.

Playing the Fairmont during a golf camp
As mentioned above, The Kittocks and The Torrance are two of the many golf courses in the St Andrews area that our juniors play during our summer golf camp. We often hear a big “Wow!” when we drive through the entrance gate of the resort as the group is greeted by one of the most breath-taking views in golf. This arrival really sets the tone for what we can expect for the whole day as we practice and play along the cliff tops with gorgeous panoramic views overlooking St Andrews and the North Sea. On a sunny day, there’s no better place to be and on a windy day, there’s no better place to test your golf.
Taking place in St Andrews, our golf camp offers the incredible opportunity to discover The Home of Golf and to play the famous courses. If you’d like to learn more about our camp and programmes, click here:
